Welcome To Cliff Bacchus

Dr. Bacchus, hailing from Guyana’s diverse background, is a man of many talents. He is not just a practicing physician but also a community activist, a prolific author, and a consultant to national health. His journey proves his versatility and the breadth of his contributions.

Dr. Cliff Bacchus now practices medicine in the Bahamas. His impressive career spans conventional, alternative, and anti-aging medicine, bolstered by studies in Russia, Canada, and America. He is a former member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (1977-2010) and is currently associated with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. Dr. Bacchus’s expertise has earned him significant recognition. In 2000, he was honored as Physician of the Year, and in 2022, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas gave him the prestigious Queen’s Distinguished Service Medal.

Beyond his medical achievements, Cliff Bacchus has been a passionate community activist and consultant to National Health, demonstrating his commitment to broader societal issues. His advocacy work has seen him engage with diverse segments of society, from the impoverished to the affluent, and even dabble in politics as an advisor to aspiring change makers.

A prolific author, Dr. Bacchus has penned eight books—two nonfictions and six fictions—with his latest work, “Hungry Vipers,” joining his literary repertoire after two and a half years of nurturing. Much like his medical practice, his writing reflects a life richly lived across different societal structures, from poorly developed countries to socialist-communist systems, ultimately anchoring his faith in democracy and equality.

Cliff Bacchus approaches life with a simple philosophy: to be a source of joy and warmth in a world often starved for both. Whether picking up a scalpel or a pen, he goes all-out to heal bodies and touch hearts, playing the role of a modern-day Renaissance man whose influence extends far beyond the confines of his medical practice.
